Cuteness for a cause

A friend recently asked me to create a few different styles of cancer head wraps for a friend of hers who was going through another round of chemo and needed a pick-me-up. After searching through dozens of online tutorials and trying a few 'do rag style wraps with no success, I came across this headband/wrap pattern. It can either be worn folded on itself as a headband or the fabric can be unfolded for more coverage.
These are just so fun to make and a great use of fabric in my stash. I love using the bold print fabrics on these - I think they are super cute!

I plan to make a few for myself to wear to the gym since the elastic band in the back is super comfortable and keeps it in place. I also want to donate a few of these to the cancer shop at St. Charles so I can hopefully put a smile on someone else's face!

I actually took the pic myself! Nate said I should be an actress because I did just a good job acting like I wasn't the photographer - LOL! Thanks for the compliments, ladies!
