I love projects that I can complete in a day... especially when they turn out so cute! Tina asked me if I could applique her daughter's name on one of those pre-made tote bags from the craft store. As some of you may know, I like to 'craft it up a notch' and thought it be much cuter to pick a colored canvas and make the tote bag from scratch! It was a 'green' project too because I recycled an old belt for the handles and the applique fabric all came out of scraps from my fabric stash.
I hope Meghan gets a kick out of 'toting' this to school this fall!
